boston baby!

Well I am here, yeay! my travels went pretty well yesterday, both flights out of MSP and Milwaukee took off on time... my layover in milwaukee was just about an hour long, so not too bad. The airplane i was in from msp to mke was the smallest i have ever been on. only two seats on each side of the aisle, and only 13 rows! we couldn't bring any large carry on bags b/c the overhead compartments were soooo little!! I was sitting next to some old dude. okay not old. he had to be between 35 and 45, and he was going to las vegas... he kept talking to me... drove me nuts! he says to me "you aren't gonna wanna drink when you get back in town will ya" i looked at him and said "im sorry?" he said "cuz you will probably drink way to much with your friend right?" i was like "nono, not planning on drinking my vacation away..." i was very happy when i was able to use my ipod! the second flight was much better... there was still only 4 seats per row, but, the seats were like 1st class seats, very cushy very wide, very impressive!! sat next to another talker, but this guy was much better than the first one. he was from IL originally and is now living in boston. He told me what to expect and what to see. Then he asked me what i did for a living, and then for the next hour we talked about-get this- life insurance.. he is wanting like 2 to 3 million of coverage, and said he would totally buy it from me. hes got my card... his cousin is working on some illustrations for him now, he said if that falls thru, he would buy it from me. i said bruce would die if he knew i was selling life insurance on my vacation! not only life insurance, but more life insurance than i have ever sold, and on vacation. funny stuff. anyway, this guy was more nervous than i am to fly. he told me that in order to land we have to go out over the ocean.. i said no big deal. yeah we flew like 15 min out into the ocean! i was like when are we gonna turn around?!?!? no one told me i would be flying over the dang ocean to get to boston!!! the view coming in off the ocean was amazing though. oh, and i forgot about the cookies... I flew midwest... they offered cookies my first flight, i passed. talked with mary on my layover and she told me i must have a cookie... so, i did. they were amazing. so soft, so warm...chocolate chip...mmm... so scott (the guy who sat next to me) asked the lady if he could have more to take home... she said we will see how many are left... right before we landed she came by with this big bag of cookies. there must be like 30 cookies in that bag!! he was like wow thanks!! then he looked at me and said want some cookies?? i was like no thanks. he insisted though i take it on my road trip.. so i have a bag of cookies! soooo good.
so edna picked me up at the airport, and we headed to Waltham to a little bbq bar. Had a bacon cheeseburger... it was sooo huge, i could only eat half of it. Edna had a bbq chicken sammich. mmm. then we headed back. i had forgotten about Am Idol till i talked to mom who said she was watching my david sing with a band... then at 10ish malinda called... i said i dont want to know!! about 10 min later i couldn't handle it. we turned on the news... YEAY DAVID COOK!!! i love him. i am sooo happy for him!! :) yeay!!
okay today off to boston, we will have a lunch on a cruise at like 1130... then we will just go round boston for the day. and back in time for grey's anatomy! then tomorrow off to NYC!! WOOT!
