Has anyone else noticed the increase of traffic over the last week? Just last week I was sailing into work and home again in just 30 minutes. I have found that if I leave my house just 10 minutes earlier there is NO traffic. Well I think starting monday morning I noticed this was not true anymore.. suddenly we are backing up on 35e all the way from wagon wheel trail all the way up to the Mississippi River bridge! I was expecting to have more traffic when the RNC was in town... but that hasn't started yet! I dont know whats going on and its driving me crazy! It took me 50 minutes to get home on Tuesday! This usually only happens when its raining, and it was a beautiful day on Tuesday!
On another traffic note, you know who drives me crazy??? People riding their bicycles in the road. Well, most of the time they dont bug me if they are on the shoulder... but, when they are in the left turn lane and take their time making that left hand turn while we in motorized vhls have only precious seconds to get thru the green turn signal...they take their sweet time making that turn. I also can't stand them when there is little or no shoulder on the road.. yesterday, on my way home I had this dude on his bike that could have reached over and just held onto my passenger side rear window and gone on a ride. Seriously, how bout you back up and not be right next to my car!!!!!! if I would have made the slightest move to the right, I would have knocked the man right off his bike! I was not so happy with the car a few in front of me either, going 20 mph helping this guy keep pace with my car!!!! UGH! you know what else bugs me? these same people doing what they are legally able to do (in the state of MN anything on 2 wheels is a "vehicle" and can do exactly what these bikers are doing).... you know what they also do? they BLOW thru stop signs. Funny that they fully expect that we respect them on the road, but they dont have to respect a stop sign/light.

I totally agree with you on this one. Also they had a story on the news probably like the beginning of summer... i can't remember which station it was, I'm thinking it was 9, but anyway... the reporters were in a car driving around and asking bikers why they just blew through a stop sign, some would just flick them off, some would yell at them, some would completely deny it. It was awfully humorous.
Ooooh, I hate cyclists too. Ride on a freakin' road that has a shoulder or don't take that road! Idiots. I also can't stand when motorcyclist think they don't have to follow the laws like riding on the lines on the freeway because they are small enough too! Morons! I'll keep my eye out for ya only if you are driving like a responsible adult!
