second spa day

So today I visited the Spa for the second time... I can't remember if I ever wrote about this, but I bought a promo package for $47 and I get 4 sessions... one foot rub session (which I had already and it was delightful)... a facial, a body massage and this Ion detoxifying thing.. Today I did the Ion bath... Now I am not entirely sold on this idea, but it was fun anyway. Here's what happens. I get there, and put my feet into a bath of water... She puts this thing into the water with my feet, its connected to a machine that has the word "ion cleanse" she then puts salt in with my feet. When the machine is turned on it sends out positive and negative ions into the water that then by osmosis get into my pours and attaches themselves to the opposite positive or negative ion in my body that is a toxin...
As I sat there, the water started changing color. Started going orange... by the time we were done, i looked down and couldn't see my feet the water was so dark.. It was orange and brown. NASTY. Each color that comes out tells you what the ionizing was focusing on.. the color orange meant that it was focusing on my joints... and the brown, yeah it was working on my liver! ha, imagine that!
anyway this tells you a little more about it... and that photo was taken after the foot bath and she had poured more (clean) water on my feet over the dirty water-so it lightened up a lot, but its still really GROSS!
anyway, can't wait for my massage.. i am going to do that in jan!
