FIRE!

So yesterday I had Nicole and Doug come pick up their photos at my house around 630. she pulls up and says "do you see whats going on next door?" i was like no... she tells me that a house is on fire! so i walked around to the side of my apartments that my garage is on... and sure enough, one of the town homes behind my garage is on fire! i stand there watching for a while... then go to get my camera. walk all the way back to my apartment, and come back and start taking photos... the FD was there the whole time... but still had not started putting fires out! i was like wth? anyway, finally they did put the hose to it and got the fire out pretty quickly (it had to have been burning for some time... for sure 12 minutes from when i went down to bring the disk to Nicole... till i saw them put water to it 12 min later, who knows how long it started before they even got there...) i dont know FD protocol, but it seem s pretty funny they hadn't tried putting it out before they did. anyway, here are some photos oh... kstp was there i guess
You can't quite see it, that dark line at the bottom of the photos is where my garage is...and where my car was parked! too close for comfort!

before i went to bed, i went to check out what was going on, because fire trucks still lined my street.
and this morning... i was going to take photos from the other side, but didn't get a chance.
i had no idea that it started on fire again, but right near that pine tree is where it started up again this morning. i am happy to read that everyone got out safe!
