some stuff.

Uuuughhh

I’d like to say I’m busy. But I’m not.  I’ve got a ton to do, but never find time to do it.

Over the weekend I was going to quilt quilt quilt.  Know what? Didn’t touch my sewing machine.

Friday night I went out to celebrate my other best friend’s birthday.  Kelly is 33, and we had to do it up big.  We met at his house, played some card games (I will have you know that I was owned by Hi-low).  I drank a small bottle of tequila.  Okay it was a pint of tequila.  And I drank that in about 3 hours. 

We went out to the local hole in the wall karaoke bar, Bleechers in our Sunday best.  Kelly wanted to class the place up a little, the guys in their ties and suit jackets, ladies in dresses. We looked GOOD, and we brought the house down with some killer singing.  I drank a ton of water while at the bar… that’s all I drank. Well except the weird coconut shot that was given to me by the waitress… she said she bought it for me, but it’s hard to say.  I never believe it when the waitress’ say they bought it. I always think there is some creeper in the corner watching me drink the shot he bought me.

I spent much of Saturday in bed… watching DVR’d shows… not quilting…

Visited an old friend, Derek on Saturday night, watched the stupid packers beat up on the Falcons. Stupid packers.

Sunday I spent my time backing up my photos onto discs… Since the stupid hard drive that was given to me for Christmas didn’t work with my computer :(  Again not touching my sewing machine.

I did watch the first disc of the first season of Glee. Everyone flips out about Glee. Glee Glee Glee. I had to see what all the hype was about. It’s pretty good.  I’ll keep watching it on dvd, probably won’t get into it on tv though. 

I’ve got a lot to do around my place. I really want to paint all the base boards white… and my bathroom and bedroom door. We will see how long it takes me to do that. Maybe I’ll work on my quilt all week this week and then do my painting next weekend…
