Okay, I have noticed weird stuff I do lately... Okay I have been doing these things more than lately..for quite some time. I just am recently noticing these things I do that I believe could be borderline OCD. Now, I don't do anything like turning the lights on and off 10 times before I can leave a room, and I don't wash my hands 7,000 times a day, nothing that extreme. But here are some of the things I have noticed I do. I am sure most people who are reading this already know my obsession with my lips and having chapstick or whatever... I can't live without it.. just something to go on my lips. I prefer my Aquaphor... but when that's not around, i will pick up a stick of chapstick. If you came over and looked in almost any drawer or decorative box, you will find a small tube of Aquaphor or chapstick. I do a lot of counting. When I walk up or down stairs, I count them as I go. Now, I have gone up and down the stairs at my condo a million times, same with the stairs at work. With going up and down so many times and counting every time, I couldn't tell you how many steps there are. I just count as I go and forget about it as soon as I start walking on flat ground again. When I hear a car alarm go off, beep beep beep beep beep... I count each time it beeps. So weird! I also like things in odd numbers. When I use a public bathroom, I always go in the first, third, fifth etc stall. When I wash my hands and pull out paper towels I always take three towels. When I am cooking something like pizza rolls, chicken nuggets or tater tots I always cook five seven or nine pieces... usually seven.
The one other thing that makes me feel really OCD is I am always thinking I forget to lock my car. It is soooo automatic for me to lock the car, I never remember if I did it or not, so I find myself walking back to the car to see if I actually locked it or not!
Does anyone else find themselves doing similar things?? Or am I borderline obsessive compulsive??

the door locking thing i think is pretty normal... or we are both weird. But the counting of the steps, car alarm beeps and odd number things... that sounds kinda weird. Look who the hypochondriac is now!! ;0) J/K
I am the same way with chapstick. It's ridiculous. I literally have one handy on every floor of my house, if I forget one when I leave, I am sort of lost. I need chapstick on my lips.
I count a lot too but I always have to be moving my feet.
Plus, I'm OCD about cleaning, it has to be a certain way.
I don't think it's a problem though!
