Dc for a day!

What a great Saturday! Found out an old ground was in DC this weekend.. So I took a day trip up to visit.the ride up was terrible. Took over 3 hours to get into DC proper... But from that point on we had a blast! It was nice to catch up with Pischke after a few years! Talked about the good old days in Inver Grove Heights. It was a fun walk down memory lane. Of course a get together with Pischke wouldn't be complete without some baseball... So we went to the Braves and Nat's game. Nat's came out on top 3-0.  Since it was rather last minute....we ended up getting tickets in a suite because nothing was left over together! It was totally worth it. I mean how often do I meet up with Pischke in DC for a ball game anyway? Great Saturday!

I've been very baaaad.

It's been far too long since i've written. i dont know why, it's not like i am crazy busy... i have been crazy lazy for a while though. I dont know what it is, i get home and i dont want to move. i want to sit in my recliner and watch tv... i dont think i am depressed, i have been before... and i dont feel that way now.. but i am not interested in doing anything. i start on my way home and think to myself "im gonna clean my room, clean the bathroom..." etc... then i get home and i sit and not do any of it! part of it may be my recent scrabble obsession. i have like 20 games going between myself, mom, auntie patti, and my boobaface. oh and one with my pops too! I play that every night, for a couple hours. it's fun!Last weekend I drove down to Des Moines to visit Chris, Malinda and their baby girl Bella. Mike and Mary also made the drive out. it's been a long time since we all got together! Miss Bella is a sweet baby! Friday night we stayed in, sat in the hot tub

while mike and chris went to the local bar. saturday we went out to eat at a place called okojiba grill? something like that.. i had a delish hamburger (i was craving a burger for a while!)

Then we went bowling... played two or three games. two, we played two. first game i was 3rd out of 4, second game i was second. not too bad. Girls turn to go out, we went to the local bar... and i forgot the name already.. Bucks? had a few there, headed back to the house at midnight without malinda and mary. Got back and jumped in bed. round 9am headed back home again!

Saturday!

So, woke up today, and headed over to the MN zoo. Tristi is working there and asked me to take photos of a coral exhibit they have. We first had some caribou and bagels, and then got to the photo taking. To thank me for taking these photos, Tristi paid for my ticket to see Alice in Wonderland (3d and IMAX!) what a great movie!! I loved it, it was crazy awesome with the 3d and colors and Cheshire cat... LOVED IT!
Both Tristi and i were beat after this... I was up so late the night before, and Tristi stayed the night at the zoo... so we decided we'd go home, take a nap and hook back up later on. After taking a couple hour nap, we met back up at Old Chicago. Had a few drinks, Aaron met up with us and we ate well :) We decided after that we'd go back to my place to play Wii... Got back here, and instead of Wii, we watched tv... then we put in season 4 of How I Met Your Mother... love it! I was dead tired, so i went to bed round midnight, they were still up watching.

weekend fun

I had a fun weekend! :) Friday after work I went to Sarah's moms tat parlor and watched Sarah get a tattoo... on her wrist, right where I did :) It has had me itching for another tattoo.. I am going back and forth between a few ideas.. One, i have been working on for some time... didn't want to do it till i lost a bunch of weight, which i have... i have Saturn on my back/side.... i have been wanting to add the other planets to this, and kind of wrap around from the front to the back... not HUGE or anything, but wrap around, ya know?

I also want to get a moon. I have Saturn, the sun, stars and a shooting star... i need a moon!

and then there is the one that I want that is random and has nothing to do with the stars... A baseball tatoo...with a baseball seam, like it's see thru... and the little TC logo in the middle... i would love that...i just dont know though.. ughhh. it's probably gonna be the moon or the wrap around..

Saturday I hung out with Jason! It's been a while since I have hung out with just jason... We went to JOES CRAB SHACK. mmmmmm... we each had a bucket of crab legs, and shared a side of crawdads! mmmmm... it's making me hungry just thinking about it! We drank pretty well also! after we headed over to the Turf Club... were there for a drink and a shot... then headed back to his place where we had a pizza...yeah, after all that crab and craw dads, we still ate a pizza!! hehe. It was fun haning with Jason, i forget how funny that boy is! Hopefully I will hang with him again soon :)
