Heya! for hardly writing in the beginning of July... I am sure making up for it now :)
I just wanted to kinda write a little about what I've been doing for myself lately..... I feel over the last year and a half, other than working out, I've really done nothing as far as making myself feel better, look better... Well over the last couple weeks I've done 4 things... and it's really helping me feel better about me...
I got my hair trimmed... why? because I haven't in a while, and I figure if I want it to stay long and healthy, I better get a trim. I loved it because I had to stand while she trimmed it... I've never in my life had to stand up so they could trim my hair!
The day after my trim I went and got my hair foiled.. I have now some dimension to my hair...I haven't done anything with the color since before I went to Colorado in Feb 2009... So I think it looks great!
Another thing I did (not to gross you out) but I bought little sysilic acid discs to kill of the freakin wart I have on my right hand ring finger.. It's been there a couple years.. I've tried a few things, but these discs I think are actually working! I've been using it for about a week now.. I decided to stop for a few days to see what happens, because right now it looks like its gone... but the skin may just come right back over it. we will see.
And the final thing I've been doing... using crest 3d white strips... I've resisted in the past b/c my teeth are sooooo sensitive. I bought the crest 3d tooth paste, and it came with one set of the strips... I figured I'd try it and see if it hurts as bad as I'm thinking it will.... it didn't hurt at all! My friend gave me 6 of her left over set of strips... and I used them all up.. I wasn't yet happy with it, so I went to target and spent $42 to get the 14 pack... I'm two days into that one, and my teeth are starting to look more like I want them to :) no more whitening my teeth on photoshop!! YES!
the reason my teeth ended up stained is because for years I was hooked on diet coke... and now I don't drink it but maybe once a month if that... so I shouldn't have to do this very often :) yeaaay!
so anyway, these things are helping me feel a little better about myself these days :) yeay!
