Okay... so this week really flew by. this is surprising in that it was a short week, and they usually take the longest to get thru. I had a wonderful time at the cabin over Labor day weekend... I guess i didn't take many photos up there, but it was a good time none the less.
Tuesday my check engine light popped on. weird too as my car was driving perfectly fine. not feeling anything weird in my ride at all. Dad purchased one of those diagnostic computers...you know the ones they charge you like $40 to hook up to your car to see why the light is on if you go to a service station??? yeah those. Anyway he hooked it up, came up with the code EGR Malfunction. So he does his dad-ly duties and checks out whatever the heck it was that was making this light come on. He said the dohickey (okay that's not what he said) is working just fine... he turned off the light and i headed home.
Tuesday at lunch the light comes on again. So i go back to mom and dads after work to get it checked out again. Same thing pops up. It's really strange to me, I'm not sure why it's coming up, and neither is my dad...soooo it looks like I'm going to have to have someone check it out. ugh. i hate spending money on fixing cars, it's such a bummer. It wasn't a complete waste of going to mom and dads because I had ordered something from Sephora that arrived at their house that day... I never have stuff delivered to my house b/c it will sit at the door till I get home, and i dont trust my neighbors!! anyway, if you wear eyeshadow, this is an awesome product that you HAVE to get... I used to have this problem that my eyeshadow would crease by lunchtime.. i hated it. untill i found THIS... it's from Urban Decay and i kid you not, your eyeshadow will stay put until you wash it off at night. It's seriously a must have... I bought a "genie" bottle of it a while back, and ran out recently. I was bummed...I just saw the other week they came out with this bigger bottle for $12 more, and it's totally worth it!
Anyway, I also went to Kelly's softball game on Wednesday. It was a beautiful night out for softball watching. Then last night Kel, Jason and I got together at Jason's place to watch the Vikes/Saints game. I was happy we weren't pummeled by the Saints, i was totally expecting a beat down!!
Anyway...now it's another weekend up at the cabin. Working on photos of a 3 month old baby boy. I'm excited to get them done for the Caroll family!
